Following the successful evaluation of Barking & Dagenham’s two neighbourhood management pilots, MGA was invited to develop a borough-wide Neighbourhood Management strategy.  We undertook the scoping work, identified resources for the strategy, gained political support and ensured all partners were signed up to the objectives. 

We devised a unique ‘two tier’ approach to neighbourhood management for the Borough, ‘intensive’ where it was needed most, and ‘light touch’ working directly with neighbourhood police teams elsewhere.  We were retained to establish the new £1.3m service, recruiting and training the teams, developing all processes, establishing consultation and communications and supporting the launches across the Borough.
