London Borough of Lambeth (Lambeth First LSP)

We supported the London Borough of Lambeth develop a mixed economy approach to Neighbourhood Working through partnership with local third sector organisations. We delivered an approach that weaved together existing involvement and service delivery mechanisms at the area and neighbourhood levels with a new framework for commissioning neighbourhood working in the most disadvantaged areas of the borough. We were also invited to deliver the Borough’s Sustainable Community Strategy.

London Borough of Barking and Dagenham

We supported the Borough in developing its Neighbourhood Management Strategy, one of the most comprehensive approaches to Neighbourhood Management in the South East. We established their £1.3m mainstream, borough wide neighbourhood management service which targets the areas of highest disadvantage with an intensive approach and a ‘lighter touch’ approach elsewhere. Previously Micah led the evaluation of both their neighbourhood management pilots and delivered an overview study of neighbourhood management in Barking and Dagenham.

Great Yarmouth Borough Council

We took all key stakeholders through an iterative process ensuring we understood local priorities and gained commitment to the neighbourhood management way of working. A comprehensive piece of work was undertaken that delivered a full action plan containing baseline data, and a 2 year delivery plan for the neighbourhood management partnership.

Peterborough City Council Regeneration Division

We interim-managed and reviewed the Greater Dogsthorpe Neighbourhood Management pilot in Peterborough. We led a development programme for the partnership, initiated the community election process, analysed priorities and developed a Neighbourhood Action Plan. We were retained by the City to work on an emerging neighbourhood priority for a joint service centre at John Mansfield School where we led an option appraisal exercise.

London Borough of Waltham Forest

We led Waltham Forest’s Better Neighbourhoods Initiative both devising a neighbourhood management approach and rolling out a priority neighbourhoods strategy for the Borough.
