Kerry Wilkins - Associate Senior Consultant

Kerry is an independent consultant in local government, regeneration and in the development of neighbourhood approaches. She has a range of experiences and has worked at the forefront of the public service improvement agenda in neighbourhood management, town centre management, business improvement districts, creative industry work and the development of sustainable community strategies and local area agreements.

Kerry has recently:

  • Contributed to the national guide for best practice in Neighbourhood Management (DCLG)
  • Recently supported Tendring District Council with their neighbourhood approach, developing the framework for the Tendring and Jaywick neighbourhood management programme.

In her previous employment Kerry was the neighbourhood manager working on the Gospel Oak Neighbourhood Management Pathfinder in Camden. She worked for the Central London Partnership as the partnership manager for five pilot business improvement districts - all succeeding in their ballots to become independently funded through their local business communities.

Kerry has also worked in the arts and creative industries, providing support through involvement and advice to many boards and committees. She has extensive knowledge and experience in translating policy into practical delivery, capital and resource management, business development and liaison, community cohesion, and creative industry links and understanding. She volunteers with a sustainable development organisation which specialises in working with the disenfranchised.
